Has It Been Seven Months?

Well, a lot has happened. Really, that's and understatement. We're getting back on track slowly. The touch and go of recording times is still there, but hopefully we can stabilize sometime soon.Having Will editing and uploading has been nothing less a boon.
As for the channel we will be doing anime reviews, but with(we hope) and original(some what) take on it. More details soon. For now RPGs VS and Action Adventure will hopefully be uploaded with relative frequency.

Silent But Not Dead

Well it has been a lot longer since we did a blog post then we've had a successful week of video uploads. There is now real excuse as there was nothing to really blog about. We've been trying to record as much as possible, however work schedules have changed dramatically (yes we have day jobs) and has caused some adjusting on the time we have to record.
In short it my be a week or two before we can start regularly uploading videos again. For the five of you who accidentally click on our videos and the two that find this blog while searching for porn we are sorry for the lapses in uploads that are sure to happen.
In the mean time we'll give something a try. Anime Reviews! We'll try to keep the weeabooness down.

Mysterious Girlfriend X

Hello, this is Alex and today is the A&J Review!
We’ll be taking a look at Mysterious Girlfriend X.  A Romantic Comedy set in, where else, high school.
The story follows Akira Tsubaki as he struggles to understand his relationship with a quirky and standoffish classmate Mikoto Urabe. This all started when Tsubaki found Urabe asleep in a classroom and after waking her decided to taste her drool. Yeah. That’s the pivotal plot point by the way.
The two form a bond through saliva exchange, Mikoto wetting her finger and Tsubaki sucking on it. It actually becomes a necessary ritual they must carry out daily less Tsubaki succumbs to Love Sickness.

Still Tsubaki is a guy and wants to hold and kiss Urabe like, well, any guy with his girlfriend would want to do. Urabe, one the other hand, insist on a much slower pace. When Tsubaki makes a move Urabe is quick to remind him of her position on the matter of physical contact by brandishing her Panty Scissors! Nothing quite says "Hands Off" like a warm cutting instrument holstered in the elastic waist band of a girl’s undergarments. That’s a pro tip by the way.

Needless to say we have a very unique slice of life comedy. The anime holds well against the manga, of course it can’t follow it verbatim, but they do use one of the arcs that I feel better exemplifies Tsubaki and Urabe’s bond.

Aika Hayakawa, the middle school crush of Tsubaki, wanders back into his life like a stray cat looking for food. She reminds him of the old days and the possible relationship they could have had if only Tsubaki confessed his feelings to her. I’ll stop there since I’m just reviewing and not doing a whole series synopsis.
Mysterious Girlfriend X is very well animated and has good episode pacing. If you’re looking to enjoy a cute and weird comedy about love this should be on your list.

Animation Quality: 10 The animation holds throughout the series as smooth and sticking to the style of the mange.
Plot Pacing: 10 The flow is of the series is not rushed and the few arcs they take from the manga are played out well.
Series Length: 10 The 12 episodes were just the right duration for the story, but I would have loved more.
Ending: 10 The ending felt good and complete if you are only viewing this as the anime alone and the arcs are all tied up nicely.
Over All : 10 It delivers the boy-meets-girl  story while remaining a unique take on the genre.

All By Myself

It's harder than it looks; talking and playing a game at the same time. What would be excellent to fill the void would be some Q & A! Yes, emails, comments, ect. Send them in and I (Alex) will answer them to the best of my abilities.

Cloudy with a Chance of Bull

If it wasn't obvious from our comments we really love this game. It's just one of those little gems that got almost everything right for both fans of the series and people who want a fun game to play.
